The Legacy Club at Diamante
Tiger Woods's third Diamante course, a lake-and-waterfall oasis inside a private club capped at 250 families.
Diamante already holds two of the most admired courses in Mexico, the Davis Love III Dunes Course and Tiger Woods’s El Cardonal. The Legacy Course is the next chapter: Woods’s third design at Diamante, built for a new private club within the community. Officials told Golf Digest in July 2026 that the course was fully grassed and estimated a spring 2027 opening. A September release said the course and amenities were getting closer to opening.
An oasis, by design
The concept is a deliberate contrast with the open dunes around it. Golfers move from desert into dense, tropical planting, with thousands of trees, five lakes linked by streams, cascades and waterfalls, and deep white sand bunkers. Diamante describes it as the most extensive network of water features designed into a Mexican golf course. A landscaped man-made dune encircles nearly the entire property for privacy. Woods has spoken about drivable par fours, long par fives and movement in the greens.
The club
The Legacy Golf Club is invitation-only and limited to 250 families, all owners in Legacy Club, Diamante’s owner-exclusive enclave. More than half the memberships were reported as reserved in September 2026. Members will also have access to Diamante’s other courses, the Beach Club and The Playground. Planned facilities include a 16-acre practice area, a Start House, an open-air Outpost for fishing and recreation, and a clubhouse with pools, a restaurant and a wellness centre.
Why it matters
Diamante is the home of Los Cabos’ PGA TOUR event, the World Wide Technology Championship, which returns in November 2026. The Legacy Club adds a far more private layer to the same estate, aimed at families who want a club that passes across generations. For the Pacific side, it confirms Diamante’s place at the top of the region’s golf communities.
