Zuma Cabo
The global izakaya favourite opens its first Mexican restaurant, with a robata grill, a sushi counter and three dishes made only for Cabo.
Zuma has become a fixture of the world’s most glamorous dining cities, from London and Dubai to Miami and Mykonos. Its first restaurant in Mexico opens on 5 November 2026 at Ánima Village, the open-air luxury shopping village at Cabo del Sol, close to the Four Seasons and the Park Hyatt.
What to expect
The format is classic Zuma, inspired by the Japanese izakaya: three kitchens working at once, with a main kitchen, a sushi counter and a robata grill. There’s a deep sake list, terraces facing the ocean and a bar with mountain views. Three dishes are made only for Cabo: lobster shimofuri with shiso chile dashi and crispy ginger, a crispy nori grouper with tomato-jalapeño relish, and a robata corn and milk caramel flan.
Why it matters
Zuma is a destination restaurant wherever it opens. With Ánima Village drawing Cartier, Louis Vuitton and other major houses to the Corridor, a Zuma gives the area the after-shopping dinner scene it was missing.
Our view
We’ll book a table in its first weeks. Expect Zuma Cabo to become the Corridor’s see-and-be-seen dinner very quickly.
