One to watch
Ilios Greek Estiatorio
A temple-inspired Greek estiatorio with panoramic Sea of Cortez sunsets, slow-cooked lamb and a late-night plate-smashing finale.
Ilios opened in May 2025 at kilometre 5 of the Tourist Corridor, next door to its sister restaurant Harry’s. It is Grupo Anderson’s take on the Greek estiatorio, with architecture that borrows from island temples: stone, warm light and Mediterranean planting set against the Baja desert.
What to expect
The cooking is contemporary Greek: fresh tzatziki, grilled seafood and a slow-cooked lamb shank that regulars order every time. The terrace and its big windows face the Sea of Cortez for one of the best sunsets on the Corridor. As the night goes on, the room turns into a party, with music, dancing, fire performers and the Greek tradition of plate smashing. It stays open until 2 a.m.
Why it matters
Ilios fills a gap between quiet fine dining and the nightclub. It’s a dinner that becomes the night out, which suits birthdays, groups and anyone who wants the evening to keep going.
Our view
Book early for the sunset, then decide whether to stay for the show. We’ll keep watching how it develops alongside Harry’s.
