Marina Puerto Los Cabos
A gated marina with about 230 slips for yachts up to 250 ft, plus a fuel dock and an on-site boatyard.
Marina Puerto Los Cabos sits just minutes from the heart of San José del Cabo, within the Puerto Los Cabos resort community. It gives the quieter, more traditional side of Los Cabos its own deep-water gateway to the Sea of Cortez, without the crowds of the Cabo San Lucas harbour.
The marina is set within a protected destination and offers easy access to excellent fishing and coastal exploration. For many boaters, that combination of calm surroundings and a short hop into town is the point.
It belongs among the best for its scale and completeness. With hundreds of slips, a fuel dock and a boatworks operation on site, it is a fully equipped working marina rather than a token dock attached to a resort.
What to expect
There are currently 230 slips, with plans to expand to 400 and add a full yacht club. Most slips range from 30 to 70 feet, with numerous options for vessels of 100 feet and above and berths for yachts up to 250 feet. Power is available at 30, 50 and 100 amps, water is metered, and the marina offers a pump-out station or a pump-out boat that comes to you.
A fuel dock operates on site, and Marine Group Boatworks Los Cabos runs a boatyard here for maintenance and repairs. Depth in the marina reaches up to 4.5 metres at mean low water. Staff contacts for both the fuel dock and the boatworks are published, so captains can arrange fuel and haul-outs directly before they arrive.
