Chileno Bay Resort & Residences occupies 22 acres on one of the most sought-after stretches of the Tourist Corridor: Chileno Bay, a protected cove with usually calm water, coral reefs and one of the few beaches in Cabo where swimming is easy. Snorkellers here can spot tropical fish and sea turtles a few strokes from the sand.

An Auberge Collection property, it is a 2026 Forbes Five-Star hotel, holds two Michelin Keys, and was voted the second-best resort in Western Mexico in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. The design is modern and clean-lined, and every guest room opens onto a private terrace.

It is a natural pick for families and for anyone who wants the resort and the ocean to feel like one experience.

What to expect

Accommodation ranges from guest rooms and suites to villas of two to six bedrooms, topped by Brisa del Mar, a 24,000-square-foot oceanfront villa with private beach access. Many suites and villas have their own pools or hot tubs, and the main Zero Edge pool is set over three tiers above the sea.

Dining is led by COMAL, the Michelin-recommended Mexican restaurant, with Proa at COMAL for clifftop dinners, YAYA for Mediterranean flavours, a beachside taco bar and a late-night bar with DJs. Sol, the spa, pairs modern treatments with Baja healing traditions and includes a bath house, nap garden and reflexology pool. Children have the Pescaditos Kids Club, and teens have their own club.
