Four Seasons Resort and Residences Los Cabos at Costa Palmas

Four Seasons at Costa Palmas opened in October 2019 and helped put the East Cape on the luxury map. It sits on a two-mile beach on the Sea of Cortez, about an hour from the airport and near Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, and it offers something rare in Los Cabos: a vast beach that the resort describes as the largest swimmable stretch in the region.
The resort was designed by Brooklyn-based Guerin Glass Architects, with 141 rooms and suites, each facing the Sea of Cortez with a private terrace. Several categories add private plunge pools, and a three-bedroom beachfront villa sits at the top of the range.
It feels more relaxed and outdoorsy than the Tourist Corridor resorts, with a private marina, golf and water sports all on site.
What to expect
Seven pools include a lap pool, family pools, an adults-only pool and three arroyo pools. On the beach, kayaks, paddleboards, Hobie Cat sailing and a sea trampoline are complimentary, and the marina is the starting point for sunset cruises and trips to Cabo Pulmo. Costa Palmas Golf Club has an 18-hole course by Robert Trent Jones II.
Dining includes Estiatorio Milos for Mediterranean seafood, Casa de Brasa, a Baja brasserie, El Puesto for ceviche and crudo, Limón bar and grill, and the Chiki cocktail lounge. The Oasis Spa covers close to 16,000 square feet with ten treatment rooms, and the year-round Kids for All Seasons programme has its own facility.
