Grand Velas Los Cabos makes the case that all-inclusive and genuinely luxurious can coexist. Opened in late 2016 on the Tourist Corridor, it holds Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond recognition, and it is home to Cocina de Autor, the only Michelin-starred restaurant in Los Cabos. Tripadvisor travellers voted it the top luxury all-inclusive resort in Mexico for 2026.

The resort has 304 suites, every one with an ocean view and a private terrace. Most are larger than 1,100 square feet, and some have their own plunge pools, so even the entry categories feel generous.

Its appeal is breadth. Couples, families and multigenerational groups can all find their own space and pace, with dining and activities covered from morning to night.

What to expect

The pool complex is a signature: three tiers of infinity pools overlooking the Sea of Cortez, with the upper level for families, the middle for activities and the lowest for adults only. Kids and teens each have a dedicated club.

Dining is the real draw for an all-inclusive. Beyond Cocina de Autor, the resort’s restaurants include Frida for Mexican cooking, Lucca for Italian, Sen Lin for Asian dishes, Cabrilla for seafood and Loto Robata Grill, with Azul and Velas 10 rounding out the mix. The spa offers a water journey alongside its treatments, and advance booking is recommended. The resort’s beach holds Blue Flag certification.
