A garden-set centre near One&Only Palmilla mixing designer boutiques, jewellery, galleries, furniture and fine dining with sea views.
The Shoppes at Palmilla is where the Palmilla side of the Corridor goes to run errands, meet for lunch and buy something beautiful, often in the same hour. The open-air center sits at Km 27.5 on the Carretera Transpeninsular, across from the One&Only Palmilla, and its terraces look out over the Palmilla development toward the Sea of Cortez.
What makes it one of the best is the mix. Few places in Los Cabos combine this many good restaurants, fine-jewellery and design shops, galleries and genuinely useful services in one compact, walkable spot. It works as easily for a resort guest after a gift as for a homeowner furnishing a villa.
The anchor for many visitors is Clase Azul La Terraza, the tequila house’s dining and tasting destination. Around it are Nick-San for sushi, Señora Cocina, Blue Fish, Chin’s Cabo and Cream Café & Pizza Bar, plus Dr Juice and the California Ranch Market organic grocery.
What to expect
For shopping, look to Daniel Espinosa Jewelry and the Sonia Falcone Collection, the Pez Gordo and Pietra galleries, the boutiques of Talleres de los Ballesteros, LAGO and SAX, and House of Barrie for furniture and decor. The Kabe concept store adds an eclectic edge. On the practical side the directory includes a bank, real estate offices, legal and business services, and a United States consular office. A fountain terrace makes a good place to pause between stops, and the whole center is easy to cover on foot in an afternoon.
