Park Hyatt’s first hotel in Mexico opened on the Corridor in December 2025, after a long run of delays. It sits within the private Cabo del Sol community, next to the forthcoming Soho House, and it is owned by RLH Properties, a company based in Mexico City. Because it opened less than a year ago, and into an extended soft-opening phase, it belongs on this page for now.

The architecture

The resort was designed by Mexican architects Sordo Madaleno with Paulina Morán and George Wong Design, from a concept by Yabu Pushelburg. The plan reinterprets features of historic Mexican buildings, including courtyards, arcades, water and timber structures, laid along the Cabo del Sol shoreline.

Rooms and dining

There are 163 rooms, 88 of them suites, plus three private ocean-view villas with two and three bedrooms. Many rooms have terraces, and some have plunge pools. Mesa Madre serves home-style Mexican family cooking through the day, Dátil is the coffee shop, and Costamar is the beach club over the Sea of Cortez. The signature restaurant, Silán, with a Levantine menu, and Araya Spa were scheduled to follow in 2026, alongside a fitness and wellness centre of about 59,000 square feet.

Residences

A small collection of Park Hyatt residences, villas and apartments of four to six bedrooms, is being sold fully furnished. Together with the Four Seasons at Cabo del Sol and the Ánima Village shopping district, they make this part of the Corridor one of the most active corners of the destination.

Why it matters

Park Hyatt is one of the more restrained luxury brands, built on art, design and quiet service. Its arrival adds a design-led alternative to the established Corridor names. Early reports described unfinished areas and landscaping during the soft opening, so travellers who want every amenity running should confirm what is open before booking.

Opened in December 2025, it becomes a candidate for our Stay list at the next annual review.
