Conrad Los Cabos
A Legorreta-designed Conrad at Oleada where every one of the 111 guest rooms has its own plunge pool.
Hilton signed the Conrad Los Cabos in December 2024 with Parks Hospitality Holdings, the same owner behind the neighbouring Grand Hyatt. It will be the second resort within Oleada Pacific Living & Golf, the 860-acre oceanfront community about 15 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas. Hilton gave 2027 as the expected opening year, and Mexico News Daily was still reporting 2027 in July 2026.
The design
The resort is being designed by Legorreta, and the plan calls for a palette of terracotta and sand, local materials and artwork drawn from the region’s plants and wildlife. On a coast of bright light and strong colour, that is a sensible starting point.
What is planned
The Conrad will be smaller and more intimate than its neighbour. There will be 111 guest rooms of more than 500 square feet, each with a private plunge pool, plus 21 beach-facing suites with larger pools. Another 43 Conrad Residences, of two to four bedrooms, complete the project. Five places to eat and drink are planned, from an all-day restaurant and a specialty restaurant to beach and pool grills and a lobby bar. A 3,000-square-foot spa with ten treatment rooms, a fitness centre and a bridal suite with a full salon round out the plans.
Golf
Guests will be able to play Oleada Golf Links, Ernie Els’s new course along the community’s mile of beachfront, which is expected to offer guest access to Conrad and Grand Hyatt visitors once it turns private.
Why it matters
Where the Grand Hyatt is built for scale and all-inclusive ease, the Conrad is aimed at couples and smaller groups who want privacy and a pool of their own. Two distinct resorts at Oleada give the Pacific side a new centre of gravity, and the residences offer buyers a branded option near the golf.
We will follow its progress as Oleada takes shape.
